Understanding Your BMI

 

At A Path to Wellness we achieve great results by focusing on the root cause of health issues.  

First, we do not use potentially dangerous drugs to temporarily yield weight loss through thermogenesis.   This and other approaches, including yo-yo diets, do little to address the reasons for excess weight gain or loss, or an unhealthy body mass index (BMI). 

Using our comprehensive approach we prefer to focus on determining the underlying issues that may have led to unhealthy weight or BMI.  Weight is not just about how many pounds or kg you weigh, it is also important to consider your muscle mass and nutritional status.

Our goal is to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness, which naturally results in appropriate weight.
